I take Sun Chlorella, Treesa. Been doing so for a number of years...
Sometimes I give a tablet to Twiggy, my cat.
Never have given any to the pijies tho. Could probably crush one and sprinkle on their food, like the powered vitamin supplement I give them...

I put the tiny capsule down the back of their throat (behind the tongue), slicked down with a drop of Neem oil and then let the bird swallow. I give about one every month.

That is probably one reason why you sound so vibrant and full of life!! .
You can give your birds, one fourth of a human dose, but you don't have to give it but once a month, I know they are healthy. Sometimes I cut a tablet of alfalfa in half for the hens, it has chlorophyll as well as calcium and more in it. I usually take 6 of the 500mg tabs a day. I think I will take one, crush it and divide between the four birds over their food...

I take it in my protein drink everyday, as it comes in my greens mix powder as well as by itself in the tiny capsules! I love it!!!
