Yes, you can use them as droppers. I am definitely interested in a pair but I won't be able to afford them for some time.

I have used them for droppers for the past four years. They are a very docile little bird and a pleasure to have around. Mine very seldom fly, they walk the landing area or up to the loft roof. I keep them hungry on race day and whistle to them to enter the loft. They are not spooky in the loft and a great addition, IMHO
