Discard the egg. Even if you manage to hatch the egg, the babies are very difficult to raise from day 1.
Does this egg have a chance?
So I know nothing about pigeons,I found this egg and couldn't locate the nest so I've decided to try and incubate it the best I can with a light and, correct airflow and temperature in a jar with nesting grass and twigs.
This is the first night, I can't make my mind up if it's even fertile or if it's simply dead. I can see some veins when I look really closely but the camera doesn't show that. I'm assuming I'm wasting my time here and it's dead? Judging by the chart in order for it to be alive it would have to be at Day 1/2 as it just looks like a circle right now? Assuming it's even a pigeon egg at all, I have no idea? Thanks
