ok so my fancy pigeon, snowball, lives indoors with me but is allowed free flight everyday outside. About a year ago last summer she was attacked by a hawk and was hurt pretty badly, she sprained her leg and wing, complete tail feather loss, neck/head feather loss. She is all better since then. Her leg and wing weren't are strong, she grew back all tail feathers. The one thing that concerns me is that she never grew back her neck feathers. She isn't completely bald but the back of her neck is mostly skin. When she molts she loses a lot of feathers around her neck and it looks really bad but when she grows new feathers, they never cover her "battle scar", will she be bald back there forever? or is there something i can do for her to regain her feathers?. Also she is losing feathers now, is it normal for them to molt after or close to the end of summer? she never molted this late in the summer before
