I bought this evening a bag with fodder for hens and until tomorrow I can't get pigeon - specific mix of seeds. Here is the product:

It says on package and website that the composition is corn, wheat, barley, soya, sunflower, calcium carbonate, monocalcium phosphate, salt, enzymes, vitamins, minerals.

At the analysis of nutrients it says is 16% protein, ... 5% celulose and 12% ash. I suppose the ash is from the hull of sunflower? Is this perentage ok? On pigeon - specific food I noticed the percentage of ash is 2%. Because of too much ash, the fodder (a sort of pellets) look dark.
