Hi, thanks for taking in this baby. You can get some frozen corn and/or peas and defrost them to room temp, then feed him 25-30 at a time, three times a day. You can just open his beak and pop one in and he'll swallow it. You can also get some bird seed other than sunflower seeds--they don't really eat them much in the shell--and "peck" at it with your finger to teach him how to eat. He will play with the seeds for a few days and then hopefully pick it up. You can gently dip the end of his beak into some water and that will likely trigger him to drink.
