Hello, My name is Frank and I'm new to this forum and homers. I live North of Fort Worth and plan to build a small loft by Spring and plan to start with some youngsters and hope I can train them to home, keep them in good shape and have fun during the process. I've been reading this forum and others and will surely have some questions in the future. Thanks

Welcome! My very first hard lesson in pigeon keeping: Build a loft that can house future numbers that you want to keep. If you have 2 birds and you build a loft that only house 2 birds, you will end up renovating again.

It is fun to keep pigeons. It may be even addicting. Just prepare for the emotional response when a predator tries to get your birds. That is one hard lesson for me to learn again. I was unprepared for it.
