If you crossbreed your homers and rollers you're going to end up with mutts, they won't be good homers and they diffinitly won't roll so I see no point in it.
I'm not really sure what you're asking. Are you saying you want a roller with a homer-like beak, or a homer-like cere (the white fleshy part at the base of the beak)? I agree, mixing the two would give you birds that neither home or roll. If it's the beak look you're going for, I suppose it can be done, but it will take a while. Once you get the beak to look right, then you'll have to cross the mutts with good rollers, test the young, and keep breeding out of the best looking and rolling birds. I don't really think it's worth the time and effort, but you could try.
If you like the way the homer looks, and are not worried about the birds rolling, why dont you look into breeding homers for show or show homers the breed?
dont think its gonna happen that way, crossing them will just stop your birds from being rollers .
