I have a feral pigeon and have had him since he was a baby. I named him Walter, because I wanted him to be distinguished, and behave around other pigeons. Needless to say, it didnt work. But he is here to stay. Anyways, I was wondering if he is really a he? How could I tell? Thanks.Oh, and one more thing. I want him to be potty trained. Is that possible to do with pigeons, or not? We had a cockatiel and I was able to potty train her, but I dont know about pigeons. THanks.

I don't think anyone has potty trained a pigeon. If Walter tries to mate with your hand or other stuff, he's likely a boy. If Walter is shy (doesn't pick fights or hop on stuff/birds) and lays an egg she's a girl.
