Recently I rescued pigeon near my home. It was fallen to water pit and surrounded by crows. He was very weak then. I took it home and put into cage to protect from cats. Now he is little OK.
I have a doubt regarding how to feed them. I put seeds in his cage all the time.
In the morning I put food. Then in the night I clean them and put food again. So he has foods during whole day. I thought he can eat whenever he is hungry. Is this the proper method to feed them?

You could have just added this to your other post. Leave him seed in a dish, a water dish, and a small dish of grit. He does need out of cage time for exercise and companionship.
