They just flew in I can't belive it my wife saw the circle around and land on our house and I put food out and called them and WA LA they came right down to the loft and are now back home and safe:D:D

Congrats! It should be obvious that they can come back. With respect to Missouri-pigeon's problem with his/her roller, sometimes a bad wind can get those rollers to get lost.

Is this your first pigeons? Sooner or later by observing your bird's behavior you will know if a bird can be resettled. Usually if birds stayed put for awhile after release, they usually can come back. It is those that just fly off that has the least probability of return. Obviously, there are exceptions.

Try not to release your rollers on a very windy day. Your rollers, when they are flying, should always be within your site. Good luck!
