ok well here is my 3rd painting i am starting, i am atempting to do indian fantails for this one. i haven't desided on their color yet so if any one has a few good pic i can use as references that would be great, i have seen some pretty birds on here and just can't deside...painting is 16x20

thank you..i didn't want to do all white, i do want something different, i have looked online but most i saw where either white or saddles, i may do a combination of two different reference pic's :)

thanks JAY3. I like him...i started hen, she is so far white with light brown mixed in..

well my daughter insist on black & white so.. he's going to be a white head, white flight with maybe stencil tail

Almost Done

well i started the cock bird. he was going to have a white head but my daughter insisted he be all black with white flights and a stencil tail so we will see the out come soon :)

Beautiful! I think I will try oils now. Acrylics are difficult for me to blend. I mean, I can make new colors easily...but like the green/purple on the neck..yeah it looks totally unatural on mine. Doesn't blend in smoothly like yours.
