Injured feral with broken wing
I live close to a public school that is infested with pigeons. Usually, when driving to work (training GP) I see these birds walking on the rooftops, bonding on the windowsills, mating (hee hee) 
on the chimneys... But today, I stopped at the traffic light and GUESS WHAT I SAW...
(by the way, this was a secondary school, if you were wondering)
I saw a group of boys THROWING PEBBLES AT THE BIRDS! Some of the birds come to feed at my house and are reasonably tame, so they were being knocked off the rooftops like rocks.
I was so angry I felt like running out of the car and bashing those boys' heads in!
But I had to go to work (training GP, i can't really have sick days). So I came back this afternoon, and checked out the area.
I saw a few dead birds (poor souls), cats scoffing them and only a few pigeons still remaining on the rooftops.
I walked on, feeling really down, when I saw a bird that was lying in the grass that had so far been unnoticed by the cats. It's wing was broken (I could tell by the way it was bent awkwardly) and I am guessing that a pebble didn't break it, but his fall (he was half lying on it).
He (or she) is sitting next to me now, and there is no other sign of damage except his wing.
He's eating like a champ and has drunk a fair bit too, so i'm not worried about his appetite (his breastbone is not very prominent, but stil visible).
I own an aviary, but have no experience with broken bones. My only rehab was Pooper, but he was cat attacked on his face.
Any advice?

How do you attach a picture (well, I know that you click the picture of the hills + sun, but what if the image has no URL? or if you are trying to insert it by copy/paste?)
I'll try the "sock method" on him now (quite certain it is male, cooes at me crossly when I try to pick him up). The wing is drooping, though, and when I try to move it it stays in place (the WRONG place).
the tip is hanging loosely at an odd angle, but does not move properly back into place. There is a small smattering of blood.
Should the guy use some kind of bandage/tourniquet?

Sock does not work
As you can see from the title, the "sock method" does not work. His wing cannot be bent into place to fit the sock, it will not budge.
Maybe his wing is dislocated.
Could this be a possibility???

I am assuming that the way this bird normally holds his wing is 'resting position'. Should I take him to a vet to try and correct the position?
Now, when I try to touch his wing he shies away, and holds it tight to his body. I think that there could be some sort of swelling. Do you think that the wing is broken, or dislocated?

Incidentally, the boys were from a different school (different uniform, but i'm not sure which school they go to).
