I found a Eurasian Collared Dove in my backyard, lying under a bush not moving much. As I approached her, she didn't move. I knew right away that she was injured. I carefully scooped her up with a towel over her to lessen her fear. I took her to our Southwest Conservancy for animal rescue and they told me she'd "Broken her wrist" and that it was swollen. I was grateful to have somewhere to bring her. At any rate, back home, her mother is calling for her non stop and really loud. I know she must be very worried for her offspring, but I don't know how to console her!
