I found an injured pigeon laying in the gutter unable to walk/fly and the weather is about 108 degrees so I poured cold water on him and put him in a box in the shade by my house with a cup of salt/sugar water. Is there anything else I can do?

Bring him inside the safety of your home in a box on soft bedding. Fold a blanket around him so that he sits upright. Hydrate him by dipping the tip of his beak (not over the nostrils) in a small bowl of water. Put a small bowl of seed in front of him. What do the droppings look like?
