I have a male pigeon that had lost his mate in flight.
Now he has bonded with one of his own 'daughter' from his lost mate.
They are doing what nature intended? Mating and building a nest, etc...
My question is, will their offspring be: sterile/handicapped...genetic problems ...?
What should I do to correct if their offspring will have a problem in this manner?
Plz help

More likely than not their offspring will be just fine.
There is a somewhat greater chance that recessive genes with a negative phenotype will match up, but not much, so I would not worry about it.
