That's interesting because mine go clockwise Then again, they'd almost have to. We have so many trees, that they've sort of got a track around the loft, and they always go in a certain direction when they're ready to land. Which just happens to be the opposite direction from yours
Depending on the loft,and where it is located...If trees,and your home,or power lines/telephone poles etc are in the way,they MIGHT HAVE TO fly only one way to land...
If there are no obstructions in the way,they should be flying into the wind to land...Alamo
Thanks for the replys everyone. I have been studying my birds a lot in flight to see how each individual bird is doing. I thought since pigeons are so consious of the earth magnetic field they might be effected just like water going down a drain. NOw that i say it it sounds kinda silly but hey you never know. I know that there are cases where the birds have obsticals in the way but mine dont have much in their way and they fly counter clockwise when landing every time.
Im doing more research.
