I asked Treesa to post this for me. After losing the ability to start a
thread, I was able to post to existing threads, but now I can no longer
post at all on Pigeon-Talk. The reason is because I am using WEB-TV
instead of a computer. I really miss interacting with you.
Today, January 11th, marks the sixth anniversary of finding Jesse.
After six years, he continues to bring Bob & me joy. I thank God every
single day for blessing us with Jesse.
The fourth rescued pigeon we kept, turned out to be a male also, so
Jesse still has no mate. A fellow pigeon lover told me if Jesse gets a
mate now, there will be fights with the other pigeons. That makes me
sad because I really intended for Jesse to have a mate. So, now we have
four male pigeons. If I didn't have asthma, all of them would have
With the grace of God, Bob & I continue to rescue & transport pigeons.
Living in New York, it is a never-ending experience. During the summer,
we participated in a dove rescue. We were involved with rescuing forty
doves & thanked God for every one we were able to capture. Thanks to
many wonderful people, all the doves are safe at a sanctuary.
With the use of a laptop, I hope to be able to post here again sometime
this year. I try to keep up with your posts & you continue to be in my
