Probably not the best of choices for nesting material. The pine has a strong smell and some oils that are really not best for the birds. You can buy nesting grass in pet stores, or collect and sanitize pine needles, can buy tobacco stems from pigeon supply houses, or even just offer the birds fresh hay for nesting.

And as the name tells, its bedding not nesting material. It could be used as bedding to scrape off droppings easily but fumes could be a problem.
