Advocacy for Homing Pigeons

Dear Pigeon Fanciers,

I thought you may find Mayor Bloomberg's letter of interest. It is important that the legacy of the homing pigeons heroic war efforts be preserved and remembered.

have been reading about uk equiv in a book called"flights of memory",there was a medal for pigeons i believe
