My Tundra is hurt! I'm not sure if these are too severe, but I need to know if I should just put alchohol or salt water on it or what to do. He has minor swelling under one eye, from a bite, and a medium sized, ugly cut in that area between the upper and lower beak.

I have a lot of medical equipment for pigeons.

What caused that?

As the hole looks as if it goes through to the mouth it wold be best just to use warm water, if there is no risk of him swallowing the wash then perhaps warm sterile saline.

NO ALCOHOL!!!! Especially near the eye or beak.
How did he get injured?

He started fighting with november. Hes king all right, but he's a fail fighter. I'll do the warm salt water then. He's not one to accept "gifts of water" from eye droppers, so I dont think he'll swallow this.
