In my opinion, two times a day is best. They'll get more exercise time in, and you'll get more training time in. Every weekend we road train in the morning Sat. and Sun. and loft fly in the afternoons. The rest of the week, it's just loft flying once or twice depending on whether or not I have school. This year our course is in our favor, so we could actually spread the road training out throughout the week since my dad works in that direction
Another good thing about twice a day is it prevents them from getting too fat. They'll work off their breakfast, but will be able to sleep on their afternoon feed. Then they'll work off that in the morning.
