I have only seen them for sale on Searchspring - Search Results - Strombergs but you risk not getting a healthy pigeon. ((Edit: I would like to add the 3 times I have gotten Pigeons from a breeder they were all sick/and/or covered in parasites so…. Doesn’t really matter where you get them from other than you get to hand pick the one you get.))) It goes both ways with stromberg and best to ship in decent weather so around now or fall to avoid extreme weather conditions. You can also check out birdsnow.com to see if breeders or owners are selling/rehoming or pigeon rescues. You may come across a pigeon that has a personality that matches what you’re looking for even if it doesn’t look like what you want.

owl breeds tend to have good temperament once they trust you and are mild mannered and typically sweet. Owls are also generally smaller so they are good for indoor birds but I have seen owls that are as large as homing pigeons.

ArchAngels are larger pigeons close to homing pigeon size and also have similar personalities and temperament of owl pigeons, if you are considering them. You typically have more luck finding them over chinese owl specifically.

look for pigeonbreeder inyour area or that are willing to ship. Dont narrow the breed specific because some breedersdon’t list all the breeds they have for sale sometimes. Usually they list the one that sells.

Other breeds to consider if you can’t find what you are looking for : classic old frill, dutch turbit, old dutch, helmet owl, seraphim, old german owl, oriental frill, english owl, african owl, etc
