not my bird

Hello-

This bird, originally from South Carolina, has been living as a pet in CA for a couple of years apparently after getting lost and her owner not wanting her back. Beth, who lost the bird, contacted MickaCoo and I'm trying to help her get the word out.

You can check animal control to see if someone caught it. Usually lost birds can either went to someone else's loft or joined the feral group or dies somewhere. I am myself missing 2 birds since Friday. They accidentally escaped from my home-made sputniks trap.

I forwarded a copy of the info to the rehabbers I know in Ventura County, as we get lots of pjs from LA area. We will all keep a lookout for this bird. I hope she makes it home safe and sound!!

Lost in Northern Cal

Thank you, Beth. Just a clarification- this pigeon has been living in Brentwood in Northern California (near Oakley) and was lost from up here. I do appreciate your spreading the word though! After all, Henrietta's originally from South Carolina!
