Have anybody dealt with this kind of worms? I picked around two weeks ago a pigeon with bad feathers that at home started to "sneeze" while literally spitting pieces of his lungs. I gave him Rombendazol, a drug based on albendazole and Invermectin and suddenly calmed down. But all the time since then he was breathing with a strong gurgling sound, like some liquid was in his lung.
This night he started spitting his lungs out again. I gave him Rombendazol again and wait to see what's happen.
