I got a pair of pigeons about 3 months ago, They mated, had one baby and now two more in the nest. All seemed to be fine, until Mom fell off the perch today and couldn't fly properly. She struggled to get up, but now is walking, but not flying. She is standing alone in the corner of the aviary and it appears dad and first born are picking on her..not letting her eat running her off and being a bit aggressive.

I isolated her and gave her food and water. Thinking she would be less stressed and will get some nutrition, if that is her problem. Does anyone know what can cause a seemingly healthy bird develop these problems??

She might be eggbound? How old are the babies in the nest? Pigeons usually lay eggs again when the first lot of babies are about 3 weeks old. Do your pigeons have access to direct sunlight? All the egglaying depletes thd body of calcium and this causes getting eggbound which can kill her.
