Hi all,

Just thought I would pop in and tell you that I have resigned from the Bank and have now taken a job with Ted at LondonWildcare, which as you can probably imagine, is the most wonderful thing for me!!

My partner Colin died at Christmas from cancer and 2008 was a particularly worrying and sad year for me :(and of course very sad for Colin, but I now have been given the opportunity to do what I have always wanted to do ( Thanks Ted!!) and start with the hospital on 6 April 2009 - Hooray....... so lots of pigeons!! and to show that I haven't been losing my tack, I managed to pick up a sick pigeon today and take him over to the hospital.

I can't wait to start there and just think that I am oh so lucky to have found such a wonderful job with some truly wonderful people - watch this space for more updates!!

That is terrific news. There's nothing better than being able to ENJOY what you do for a living. GOOD FOR YOU!! Just tell Ted not to keep you so busy that you can't fill us in once in while on the goings on. ;)
Congratulations with your new job!!!! You should celebrate!
What a wonderful opportunity! I'm so glad you are able to move to such a great job!
I am so pleased for you Tania, a job that is so fulfilling is a great reason to get up in the mornings. :)

You'll be such an asset to Ted with all your past experience. Look forward to the new updates !!!!

Congratulations Tania! As a work-life-long civil servant I think it is wonderful that you took the plunge and went for the job that you love.

Cynthia
Tania, Congradulations on landing a job you will truely love. DO WHAT YOU LOVE> LOVE YOU DO ;)

Sorry to hear of the recent loss of your partner, Colin. I lost my dear sister to breast cancer three years ago so I understand what you are going thru. Colin will soon be fitted with a beautiful pair of wings and Diane can show him how to zip down for periodic visits :p
