It only seems to happen with my females, but i have been getting a lot of new pairs of pigeons, young birds; and the mothers tend to kill their babies during or right after the babies are hatched. I don’t understand why this happens with new parents, but it Dosent seem to go away once they’ve killed their nest once. How do I fix this?

try separating the babies from the parents when they are born? are you willing to take on the responsibilty of hand-raising a baby pigeon?

it might be because of too much human handling?
i am facing a similar problem too, another adult pigeon has joined my two original pigeons in the nest.

hope they stop soon, because it is always amazing to see a baby pigeon grow up
