New to pigeons

What kind of birds are you getting? I've got a small ex-chicken coop the same size. 4 x 4 x 4.......I tried keeping 4 birds in it at one time (2 mated pairs) and it worked out ok....but wasn't ideal. It's PERFECT for one pair of birds though. I also have an 4 x 8 aviary attached to it. 3 feet isn't real big for an aviary and 4 birds.

You may want to make it bigger, If you happen to get a pair in there, they will want to nest and the cock bird will be protective. if you just want 2 as pets I think it would be fine, but you would'nt want them to hatch any babies and run out of room...

Then pick the forum you want to post in, (ie...General Discussions) click on that forum and when that forum opens up, you'll see a "New Thread" button at the top left side of the page. Click that button and just post your message.

That is fine with me measurement wise, but from experience you will end building another one because you might fall in love with these birds and you want them to have babies. Or you can start now by building 4' x 8' x 6' starter loft. It is your call. Build now or later. Either way it is better than cages.
