not sure what to do now, the fantails escaped yesterday, after i ripped the net off the wall trying to put a food shelf up, with a drill, after only being here 2 weeks, i managed to catch, one of the younger pair, and secured it in a hole of the wallcote, the other faithfully returned last night and i captured him as well, and have put him with his soulmate. the odd hen that is 4 weeks older has stayed very close on nearby roof tops. she will need to feed and i have put food everywhere. is there anything else i can do?

I would not be putting any food everywhere, except in a trap-or other place you want her to go, as hunger is the motive to trap them.

I Would put food only in areas that give you the opportunity to catch her. If she has bonded with the others she probalbly wont stray too far.

well its now 20hrs since she gained freedom, and she's still sat opposite, so fingers and toes crossed
