I need advice on our pet homer pigeon, starlight. She is blind in one eye due to an injury before we got her. She is now 4 1/2-5 months old and likes to fly no doubt... because of her eye and not being able to judge a place to land, she flies into things during her time out we dont want her hurt she is content sitting in laps but is easily startled and takes flight. Starlight is an indoor pigeon and will not be flown outdoors. Should i clip her flight feathers to keep her from being injured? All advice is so greatly appreciated! God Bless!!!!!!

if the pigeon is an indoor only pigeon then i think it would be fine to clip her feathers. She may not love it at first but she should get used to it. Keeping your pigeon safe in this case is a lot more important than keeping her super happy. I wish you and your pigeon luck!
