Found a pigeon in the snow on the 5th Jan took it home and realised it could'nt fly because some idiot has cut his primary feathers off. I'm doing the best I can to look after it but I don't have any suitable accomodation, currently he is on the table with newspapers and covered with a washing basket, I also have a cat in the house and he's very excited and hoping to make a dinner of the pigeon. I would be grateful if any ones willing to pick it up from me, I live in the manchester area Oldham. Please pm me if interested.

Hi

Does it have an identification band on one leg?

There is a place near Manchester where it would be looked after until it can be released.

Three Owls Sanctuary
Wolstenholme Fold

Rochdale, 12.5 miles from Manchester

Have aviary for unreleasable pigeons, those that are able to fly free from the aviary. State that treating each bird costs £42 and hope for (but don't demand) a donation of about that much.

Best leave that to the sanctuary. It is extremely painful for a pigeon to have its flight feathers pulled, supposed to be worse that being cut.
