Sounds like it might if he can fly with it. It would be best to keep him in cramped quarters for a few days to let it heal more before he stresses it by trying to fly.

Pigeon with Broken wing!
My dad has a few racing pigeons and one of his 09 pigeons came back to him late 3 days ago with its wing hanging low and not entering the loft,next mourning he checked under the wing and there was some bruising at the joint as if it was dislocated
3 days later and the wing is still hanging but he seems to be able to fly onto the roof of the house now and back down again, but still abit shaky looking
He is isolated from the other pigeons at the moment,
Will the wing get better by itself?
