Popeye - Droppings

106 Views 8 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Marina B
My Pigeon Popeye has developed strange dropping's especially in the morning. Kindly give me advice. He gets Tumbler Mix to eat for the day day, with his fresh water. He also is free to move around the garden and indoors as he chooses. He also likes to peck at the cooked oats for breakfast, loves rice, climbs into the dog pellets and chicken when preparing it. Herewith attached is his poop of this morning. Does this look abnormal.
Regards Portia.

No, not normal but at least the colour is fine. When last was he dewormed? How old is he? Are you sure you have a male?

He is definitely a male. He hatched in May last year. I have never dewormed him.
Deworm him and see if it makes a difference. Try to get Mediworm by Medpet. Unfortunately you might have to buy a whole bottle and he will only need 1 and a second tablet later on if necessary.

Thank you Marina. I have 7 other pigeon's that are in a loft could use the meds for them too. I took another pic this morning, looks better what do you think?

Yes, a bit better. Get the dewormer and treat all of them.
