Looks like a house i am interested in buying has power lines right above where the loft would be about 20 to 30 feet high. The fliers in my area with power lines have issues with birds landing on them instead of the loft.

Is this a consistent problem with anyone here?Do your birds hit the lines?I have tipplers that i will be night flying and i am worried about them at night,I 'll also be getting into racing, and don't really want to deal with this if it's a constant problems with them hurting themselves:rolleyes:.

My previous house had the main power lines going through the backand I never lost a bird nor did any ever injure themselves. I flew homers and rollers seperately. I can say though my birds did like to perch on those wires, sometimes the whole flock would perch there all night. That's just my experience with wires, others may be different.
