This little gal was not to happy to be in my loft. She was a biter too.:eek: ( I guess it was a hen) LOL Seen a few arround my house (but larger) What is it? Ya I know it is a BIRD. :) Yes that is Quiet Time loft in the background of the photo.

I would guess and say a Starling, but I really don't know for sure? How the heck did you catch it? Is it banded? Clock that sucker!! LOL

I agree. It is a starling. They are smart birds, too.

Yep - starling. Quite assertive birds and excellent mimicks. This morning, one on the phone wire did chickadee followed by flicker calls!

:) I noticed there is a nest of them in my purple martin bird house. The martins don't use it. Never even seen one. So these new residents are welocome to call it home. It is pritty neat to see parrents come home. They dive fold there wings and fly into the hole. Now to get them to teach my homers to trap that way. No landing board would be needed. :eek:
