Our club is researching filing for non profit status. We understand the benefits but its the getting there and maintenance that is troubling us. Has anyone's club recently gone through this process and what were your experiences? Did you use a local lawyer or something like Rocket Lawyer? What type of maintenance is required? I've contacted the AU about this but I am waiting to hear back.
Is worth the trouble?

hello. i think you need to talk to an accountant. i did . and she had filed paperwork for a few clients on this subject. i am still a rookie on this subject. thnks.
