when getting a racer homer can you change their location .and still be able to race them . im getting back into pigeons ( after being out for 45 yrs ) when i was a kid we just keep them in their loft for about 4to 6 weeks and they would adopt their new home . any info helpful after all we were only pay a few bucks for them then . maybe they were a differnt breed then ? thanks . paul:confused:

Yes, it is possible, but it is very risky because you have to resettle them. I think one of our members did the same thing and had a good luck doing so.

I Wouldn't risk of losing them if there are true racers , homer are know to return to there first home all the way up to 8 years , mate them since they breed like rabbits and keep the ones you have as your main breeders and the offspring's as your racers , if they was a show type pigeon i say yea but homer are homer and they will head home to there first love.
