Bird Meds on-Line & Other Helpful Rehabbing Links

Wound Care:

Silvadene, a cream used in wound care, may be ordered from the following site without prescription. They also have nebulizers and other wound and medical supplies:

An FYI, the enzymatic debrider, Panofil, is no longer being manufactured.

Anti-biotics:

Thomas Labs’ website offers a wide selection of antibiotics the whole selection of which is not generally offered at Pigeon Supply Houses and includes Ciprofloxacin:

http://www.thomaslabs.com/category/209-antibiotics.aspx

Medsmex.com has a search tool to look for specific medications like metacam, clavamox (Augmentin), secnidazole, etc. which one may then compound for themselves:

Mexi-cali.net has a good selection of Cipro and generic Cipro (Enroxil, Enfloxil, etc.) and other antibiotics without prescription in addition to vitamins and supplements. I did purchase the generic 10% Enfloxil and it was a great buy, though without a picture of the product I would verify the % through the site software. I did just verify that it is 10% from the site:

In addition to MexiCali for generic Cipro 10% in Liter:

Finchniche.com also has a good selection of generic Cipro though not as good as Mexi-Cali’s link above:

… and Finchniche Medications:

Both Ebay and Amazon carry bird meds/pigeon meds. Searching by brand name is helpful, for instance:

Amazon:

Ebay:

Supplements:

The prices here are very reasonable and ships free and fast on orders $50.00 and over:

They have a great case price on calcium gluconate, Red Cell, etc. Use the
search tool if the lists get fatiguing! There are also good prices in the antibiotic section, not all of which are prescription. If you put it in your cart it will ask for prescription right away if prescription only.

Oral & Diabetic syringes:

From the Breeder Direct Category at A-Z Vet Supply, go to Syringes sub category and select the syringe sub category. Terumo has the best oral syringe prices…

**The links provided in this thread are active sites that I’ve searched out over time and used with success. Sometimes when using the search engine within the site and posting a specific product link for others to use, the link will time-out and doesn’t bring the user to the target product even though the product is still being offered at the site. In an instance like this, reducing the address back to the broader site (ending in .com/) will allow the user to navigate to the main site requiring them to search for the product anew.
