When I fly my birds hungry they hang out somewhere most all of the day or more. I suspect they join wild pigeons to feed in the fields.
When I fly them after feeding they come home but hang out until around noon then trap in.
I don't race them but if I do that would be a problem.
What to do about this?
Weather I loft fly them or haul them out to fly back their behavior is the same.

You can try to Fly them hungry and let them out late, An hour before dark.

When I let them out late and hungry they don't come back until the next day.
