Thanks Reti:

That night found another one with canker it didn't make it through the night.
So far no more dead or sick ones as of this morning. Its amazing how little
time it takes for these birds to break your heart.

That's so true.
I am sorry you had another sick one.
Thank you for helping them. They do appreciate it.

Pat..........So sorry for the loss of 2 from your feral flock. Sure hope the rest of your flock is allright. Thank you so much for helping the ferals. They really do have a tough time of it out there on their own. I feed a flock of approx. 75 and I constantly worry about them.

Again, thank you for caring.
i try to keep antibiotics like clavamox for these guys, sometimes they fly in the safe area, but it takes a healthy bird due to kind of a verticle lift to get out,,,those i catch get treated, icu, rehab and released,-works good,..but i am sorry to say i overlooked a hazzard as today i found one strangled in my manual override squirrel feeder,yes- it was removed,-deeply regret my oversight-not seeing the danger,./.tried cpr for 20 min., and posted a memorial,..sincerely james waller
aww poor little guys, sorry to hear about your loss. :(
