Hello,

I have a bit of a dilemma. We need to make repairs on the roof, but I have a pigeon nest in there. They have babies, which seem close to flying age, but probably not quite. I am not sure I can catch them - as they scurry around, and the height there is small, so a human can only crawl. Even if we do manage to catch them and keep them safe for the duration of the repairs (2-3 days), will the parents come back for them in a place that will look new? The repairs mean we will take down the current roofing, which is full of holes, check the structure beneath - and replace that if it's rotten, and re-cover - so it's unlikely they can just stay there for the duration.

What would be the best course of action? They are fully feathered, but still have a few yellow bits on their heads. They were trying to climb up the wall when I stuck my head in the attic.
