A white long thing came out of my pigeons butt. It had to be pulled and was one connected string. Not sure what it was as it was not moving. When it was hanging out, her feathers were moved and her butt open, now everything is closed.

Anyone knows what it is? And what to do about it? Thank you very much in advance!

Dewormers. There are various natural dewormers like fennel, flax, thyme, neem, ginger, garlic, carrot, tamarind, turmeric, black seed, pineapple, papaya, coconut and onion.

If that bird is an indoor pet, I would be wondering where the bird got that worm...

I actually found her on the street 2 weeks ago. She couldn't fly because she has PPMV virus, she is doing much better since the day I found. Not so much dropping head down even trying to do little fly today

Each of the different natural dewormers do different things. Some interfere with the worms ability to reproduce. Some kill the worms, or at least make them ill. Others cause temporary paralysis of the worms so that they can't hold onto the intestinal walls with their mouths. Shredded carrots cleans off the mucus lining of the intestinal walls, taking paralyzed worms with it. Turmeric actually helps to repair any damage the worms may have done to the bird's intestines.

Just out of curiosity, have you given the bird anything that might have killed that tapeworm? Could also have been bacteria that killed it.

Yes for now I gave her flax seeds. I also have turmeric root and not sure how much and how to give it to her. I will buy carrots tomorrow. Thank you so much for your help 🙏

Hello! I gave her flax seeds after tapeworm came out. Before that I was feeding her with regular seeds and one time gave her peas and corn, but it was only 5 or six peas and corn.
Thank you so much for your help it really means a lot lot lot! I really appreciate it! Going to feed the birdy some turmeric 😊

Actually for the first three days after I found her, I was putting some drops of colloidal silver in her water. So maybe thats what helped?

I see....interesting....very much so. I was giving it to her in order to help with PPMV and also she has a bump in her head with starting to dry off. I was using colloidal silver with other birds what I rescued before, it seems it helping a lot with infections and now with worms, I guess🤔. Anyway good thing birdy feeling much more better. She is so cute
