I’m surprised that fanciers on this forum would consider keeping spare cocks in your breeding loft/section when you have mated pairs in there. Should you do this, you will be heading for trouble. The extra cock should be removed to a different loft/section and or paired with a hen even if that hen is of different breed. Turn them into a pumper pair but don’t keep spare cocks like this.

They will scalp babies on the floor, cause fights in nest boxes and possibly great or kill valuable babies and not to mention they will tread any hen they can.
