String or yarn on top of loft.

Does anyone here use this technique to keep birds off of loft? Does the yarn ware out often? And how many inches do you do this? Thx.

never heard of it, string and birds usually don't mix, they can get tangled, but not really sure what you talking about though.


I have used soft nerf balls and gently lob them up in their direction to get them flying again, or you can use a flag you wave in the air to keep them flying. then they need to be hungry so they just trap in right away seems to work for me, not always easy to do, but if they are hungry they should just shoot in to get some food.
I have a guy in my club that has netting material on the roof of his loft
he put it up kinda loosly so if they do go on the roof the net material doesnt support thier weight and they take off back into the air
its like the net they use on golf courses that keep the golf balls from flying out into the road and hitting a car
I want them to land on the landing board not the roof.
