I was reading some books I have on fancy pigeons (I wanna be a pigeon fancier when I grow up), and came across the Norwich cropper. I was interested to know, are their globes permanently inflated or can they inflate and deflate at will? Also, I came across a picture of one on google which looked like it had previously had a puncture :( ? What happened there? Not urgent, just curious.

Thanks mate

Just wanted to know, as I have never seen a video or picture of one inflating/deflating and thought it must be awkward for them to eat/drink.

when they eat of drink they deflate there globs . you just need to make sure there are no sharp edges on the drinkers/ feeders .
I have brunner pouters witch are part of the cropper familey of pigeons . they also have globs , they are like the clowns of the pigeons .
the brunners have a very good disposition
