Hello,
I've noticed that my ~10 day old squabs release a lot of little scaly things (maybe a little bigger than dandruff) and I was wondering if it was normal. They look almost like broken off bits of feathers. It's probably just a byproduct of their feathers growing and them constantly nipping at each other, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

Yep this is normal when they get their feathers in. When the larger feathers come in you will notice the tubes on them and the come of naturally as the feather grows. Almost looks like a finger nail type material around them. Make a big mess as the feather out when they are young like this but when they moult when they get older its not too bad
