Hi, I am in Thornton Colorado and found a Dove just now that appears to be hit by a car. Is there anyone who can help? Ive emailed the wildlife rescue and will call in the am.

krk617 I'm not one of our more knowledgeable members but I saw your post just now and I'm so sorry this happened so late and that you have to wait until morning to get help. You probably aren't awake anymore but if you haven't already, make sure the dove is warm (will pant if too hot) then try offering water with possible electrolytes for extra hydration. If the dove isn't dehydrated or you've made sure to rehydrate then you could try offering some seed if you have any. Good luck I hope he/she will make it .
