Being new and only having the basic guides to go by I was wondering if any of you give your birds treats? Aside from the prescribed, High protein, vet approved diet, do you slip your birds any treats by hand? If so what do you give them?

Yes, Spanish Raw Peanuts (Shelled, no Salt or anything) bought from Health Food stores Refrigerated & keep them Refrigerated till use...... After your pigeons learn to eat them, they will like them like a Cocaine Addict. Try it you'll see. Hap

YES!-- Safflower in moderation..of COURSE!. Ours love it!!! Willow will do anything to get um' too! Whole wheat crackers.... oat.... Chopped veggies..... ALL in moderation. Just look at the feed store, they have plenty of options!
