cranky frankie makes this noise at me or others a lot. ive been told its flirting, but he likes to bite me (repeatedly) after he does it if i get too close. he still wont let me or anyone else touch him, but we're working on it.


he also makes this sound like "oo-WOO-oo" over and over while holding his head down and turning in circles sometimes.

any advice would be appreciated

He is calling a mate to his nest. Males get broody same as females. Once a male finds a nice cozy place for a nest he will call for a female to join him. He will then bite and wing slap anyone who he doesn't see as potential mate to chase him/her from the nest site. He will welcome all potential mates with cuddles or courting dance in the area.
